[PREVIEW] Disc Jam Music Festival

Trees are no longer barren and birds are chirping – this means festival season is upon us! For a city-dwelling music-fiend like myself, this is the ultimate refuge. Exploring magnificent nature, with round-the-clock music and art among a sea of smiling faces. All year long, I’ve looked forward to lining up my summer festival schedule. This year we are kicking off with a truly epic one.
Disc Jam Festival is coming up on it’s 8th year. What started as a BBQ party to bring disc golf and music buddies together, has quickly become a premier, Northeast festival. This year’s festival is stacked from top to bottom with some of the best live performers out, who bringing funk, livetronica, electric music and more. Some of my personal favorites will be featured from the breakneck beats of Break Science to the bounce of Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad and the funky jams of Kung Fu. The weekend also brings the bass heavy mind fuckery from YhetiManic Focus and Brightside. Disc Jam Festival does an amazing job bringing together top acts and up-and-comers from all over the Northeast. From June 8th to June 11th, over 80 acts will guide Disc Jam Festival through auditory bliss.
The weekend will also feature wondrous visual support from the Flow Tribe, 24 men and women specializing in live daytime, LED and fire performances. Their skills in movement, presenting the art of flow, create a full vibrant experience. Beyond this, the festival will also feature various artists, vendors and activities including yoga, workshops, vendors, mini golf and more. All this at the picturesque Garders Farm in Stephentown, NY.
I can’t think of a better way to kick off this year’s summer. Get tickets HERE.Come join the crew and let’s bring the season in right!
