After an action packed Northeast Mini Tour and consistent moves around South Florida, American Grime Records drops a gem with MC Jumanji’s project, Not Done Yet. The EP is a rowdy ruckus full of bone rattling bass and lively word play. MC Jumanji and the American Grime team have been at the forefront of pushing and creating their own version of the popular UK genre. The label recently partnered with Symphonic Distribution and Cyber Groove Agency to further their goal of pioneering this Grime sound in the US. Not Done Yet is a prime example of the talent being cultivated. Jumanji spits break neck bars at a reckless pace that will have you making a gnarly grin while you bounce to the deep bass. He is an energetic live performer and you can feel this throughout the EP. My personal favorite track is Deeper, a dark grungy tune featuring Argyle Bixby, Plain English & Napolian. But in all fairness, all six tracks go extremely hard.
The guys are making major moves with weekly events in South Florida. They will also be supporting legends Foreign Beggars in Colorado on November 11th. Be sure to pay close attention to American Grime, it’s a damn movement!
